How CPPP keeps the lights on
Fundraising is a critical part of any parent participation school. It pays for school upgrades, like the nice new turf out front, and goes toward all kinds of stuff, from sandbox toys to Silly Putty. And, of course, fundraising makes sure our tuition stays low. That is huge.
Putting the "fun" in fundraising
While it may sound corny, we want to make the fundraising activities enjoyable and rewarding for our parents and children. That's why we do Dining Out Nights and the Silent Auction. It's a way for our school community to get together in different settings, learn more about each other, and raise important funding. While we do some less thrilling fundraising event like catalog sales, these all help raise money for our school. We invite all our families to join in on the effort.
Here's what we ask from our members:

Work a total of 4 hours at one or more fundraising events;

Collect at least $150 in catalog sales;

Donate something cool to the Silent Auction. You can also solicit a donation from a business. It should be worth at least $100 (or donate $50 cash in lieu); and

Also buy a ticket for $40 to the Silent Auction.

SILENT AUCTION
The Silent Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year. This event features great food, drinks, and entertainment. The silent auction gives you the opportunity to bid on unique, one-of-kind items and also get great deals from local restaurants, retailers, and other services. In the past, the CPPP class puts together a special handmade project for this event. Save the date for this end-of-the year event.
DINING OUT NIGHTS
Dining Out Nights are a great way to enjoy local restaurants with other CPPP families while also raising money for our school. Parents will receive flyers in their school mailboxes promoting the event and should present it to the restaurant when dining in OR taking out. CPPP will receive a portion of the proceeds from the evening's receipts. Please remember to invite your families and friends.
CATALOG SALES
CPPP holds one catalog sale in the winter and sometimes another in the spring. The winter catalog allows friends and families to do some convenient holiday shopping while supporting the school at the same time. Our See's Candies catalog drive offers some tasty treats for any occasion.
